Securus Technologies Releases New Voice Recognition Technology

Posted on 21 September, 2016  in Inmate Communication

Securus Technologies, a top provider of civil and criminal justice technology strategies, just released a new system, JLG Technologies Investigator Pro 4.0, allowing for searchable voice capabilities. It gives officials that ability to choose a voice sample from either the inmates side or the other party side of a call and use the sample to search for other calls where the same voice occurs.

The new Investigator Pro helps law enforcement officials to uncover gang-related, and other problematic calls by identifying voices. The technology can also identify other inmates who may have called the same party. This brings a method to help law enforcement stop crime before it happens. It gives officials a way of determining what is happening both inside and outside their facilities.

Securus Technologies is a leading provider of technology strategies to civil and criminal justice systems around the country. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, they have been in business since 1986.
